After you read this file, please run “\MiraScan342P\setup.exe”

 

To Install Your Scanner in Windows 2000…

To install your new scanner with a PC running Windows 2000, please follow the steps below:

 

1.          Follow the instructions on the scanner installation poster (Out Of Box Experience) to connect the scanner to your PC and a power outlet.

 

2.          Run “MiraScan342P\setup.exe” to lunch the installer.

 

3.          Follow the instructions on the screen to continue. When the following dialogue box appears, click “Add”.

 

4.          Click “Next”.

 

 

5.          Click “Have Disk” to continue.

 

6.          Type “C:\WinNT\inf\EPP2K.inf” in the “Install from Disk” dialogue box, then click “OK”.

 

7. Click “Next”.

 

 

 

  1. Click “Next”.

 

  1. You can specify a name for your scanner in the following dialogue box that appears. Click “Next” to continue.

 

  1.  Click “Finish” complete installing scanner software.

 

11. Turn on the scanner power and restart your PC. The scanner will be detected by your system automatically. Now you have successfully installed the scanner with your PC.
