How to play DVD on USB drives using DVD-On-USB™?

For Windows Users

  1. Buy some high quality USB thumb drives from New Cyberian or other reliable vendors.
  2. Format the USB drives as FAT32 if they are not formatted.
  3. Extract all files from the zip archive to the root directory of the USB drives. If you do not plan to use the USBs on Mac, you can safely delete the folder "Play DVD on Mac.app."
  4. Replace the VIDEO_TS folder on the USB drives with the one on your DVD by dragging and dropping the VIDEO_TS folder from your DVD to the USB drives and confirm to replace.
  5. Double click the "Play DVD on PC" icon to start playing.

For Mac Users

  1. Buy some high quality USB thumb drives from New Cyberian or other reliable vendors.
  2. Use "Disk Utility" to format the USB drives as FAT32 if you intend to use the same USB drives on Windows. Otherwise format the drives as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) or any other formats.
  3. Extract all files from the zip archive to the root directory of the USB drives. If you do not plan to use the USBs on Windows, you can safely delete the file "Play DVD on PC.exe."
  4. Replace the VIDEO_TS folder on the USB drives with the one on your DVD by dragging and dropping the VIDEO_TS folder from your DVD to the USB drives and confirm to replace.
  5. Double click the "Play DVD on Mac" icon to start playing
