Welcome to the Lucid Desktop installer!

This will install and configure Lucid Desktop for your server. You can use this installer to install a new system, or reset your current system.

The installer requires that you have some sort of DBMS backend for the desktop to use, such as (but not limited to) SQLite, mySQL, or pgSQL. You may use table prefixes if you only have access to one database on your server. If you have not done so already, please get the information for the database backend ready, and if necesary, create a database for the desktop to use.

Installation should only take a few minuites.

Once it is installed you will be able to use and customize the desktop, as well as create more user accounts or groups, and configure user permissions.

What type of installation do you want?

Do a new installation, and create a new admin user

Do a new installation, then configure it to intergrate with a user table from a CMS

Keeps your settings and users, but re-installs apps and other things

Please delete the /install/ directory for security purposes. You may also want to chmod /backend/configuration.php as well as /backend/ back to a lower permission level, depending on your server's setup. If not, you can leave it as-is, but try to avoid it. Enjoy!
