Message Executive 2003 Documentation |
Introduction Message Executive 2003 takes message management a quantum leap forward by introducing the necessary tools to assist you in cleaning up your mailbox and/or personal folders. With the help from Message Executive 2003, Microsoft Outlook users (both corporate and individual) can benefit from the integrated tools to reduce the need to deal with SPAM, organize messages manually, archive messages in structured method and also keep their mailbox usable without much user intervention. Global settings allow users to set up the method by which Message Executive operates, while the Message Clerk can be set up to allow the user to create Management Rules while they work so very little initial setup is required. Management Rules can be set to move messages to designated folders if they are read or unread based on any conditions you specify. In addition to setting up management rules for received messages, management rules can be set up for sent messages and messages for which no management rules exist (otherwise known as default rules). Archive rules allow messages to be moved after extended periods of time. SPAM rules provide a means by which a user can define which messages should be moved to junk mail prior to being moved to deleted items. But Message Executive doesn't stop there...a set of tools to help consolidate messages, remove empty folders, remove duplicate e-mails, as well as examine way by which a mailbox or personal folder can be cleaned up.
