Notepedia Install Guide

You can download Notepedia for iPod to your 3G or 4G iPod, iPod Photo or iPod Mini.

TO INSTALL:

Download the appropriate zip file of your choice. Extract to your computer then copy the folder 'Notepedia...' to the Notes folder on your iPod.

In order to use "Notes" feature of iPod you need to enable iPod to work as hard disk.

TO ENABLE IPOD AS HARD DISK:*

  1. Connect iPod to your computer.
  2. Select iPod in the iTunes source list and click options button.

  3. Select 'Enable disk use'.
When iPod is used as harddisk, iPod icon appears on the desktop on Mac, or as a next available drive letter in Explorer on Windows PC.

TO COPY FILES TO IPOD:

Drag the correct folders from your extracted zip file to the appropriate folders on your iPod (see TO INSTALL above).

TO DISCONNECT IPOD:

Macintosh: Drag the iPod icon on the desktop to Trash.

Windows PC: Click Safely Remove Hardware in the Windows system tray and click ipod.

iTunes: Click the 'Eject' iPod button in the bottom right corner of iTunes.


TO VIEW ON YOUR IPOD:

From your main iPod menu, select EXTRAS > NOTES > NOTEPEDIA

Use your main button to follow a link, your MENU button to go "back."
